What is RPC?

RPC (Recreational Pilot Certificate) recognised as the new legislation and equivalent to a Recreational Pilot License with minor differences. It is the most cost-effective and efficient route to learn how to fly in a Light-Sport Aircraft. The good news is that the hours in a Light-Sport Aircraft counts towards an RPL, PPL and CPL. The RPC allows you to fly within a 25 nautical mile radius from your departing airport with a maximum take-off weight of 600kg and take up to 1 passenger. It generally takes less time to complete the RPC and can serve as a stepping stone should you decide to move on to being an airline pilot. The validity of RPC is good for the next two years.
